The world's largest container carrier has received approval to build the $4.9 billion Can Gio International Transshipment Port in Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee stated that this project aims to position Vietnam as a regional container hub. The investment approval was issued on April 13, 2026, for a project worth VND128.872 trillion.
