Saudi Arabia accused Iran of attacking an oil tanker owned by its national shipping company, resulting in the deaths of two Filipino sailors. The tanker, Sidr, is operated by Bahri and was one of two supertankers involved in the incident. This attack occurred in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz, where Saudi Arabia is the world's largest crude exporter.
