Iraq's oil exports surged in August, with September shipments also expected to rise. Iran's approval for tankers to transit the Strait of Hormuz and discounts have encouraged buyers. Iraqi crude exports reached around 2.34 million barrels per day in August, up from 1.35 million in July.
