Switzerland-based offshore drilling contractor Transocean has reported a backlog of $6.1 billion. The company secured multimillion-dollar contracts and extensions for seven mobile offshore drilling units from its fleet. These contracts, totaling $610 million, are expected to positively impact the company's future profitability.
