Singapore's state gas buyer GasCo has secured additional liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes to offset supply shortfalls. Despite market volatility due to the US-Israel war, it plans to seek long-term supply deals this year. The city-state relies on gas for 95% of its electricity, importing 5.93 million tonnes of LNG last year.
